internationally it is best to fly in to Frankfurt airport, which has a train connection from Frankfurt Airport Fernbahnhof to Trier via Koblenz. There is a connecting corridor from Terminal 1 to the long distance train staion “Fernbahnhof”. The train ride takes aprox 2,5 hours if you travel to Koblenz per Intercity and then take a Regional Express train.

Alternatively, you can take an Intercity Bus from Frankfurt Airport. Busses depart from Terminal 2 bus station (see map below), travel time is aprox. 3 hours.

Young Investigator Award
A Young Investigator Award will be presented to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows based on the submitted abstract and presentation of the work at the meeting, either in oral or poster form. Candidates must be first authors on a submitted abstract and must check the appropriate box on the electronic abstract form. The awardee will receive 500 Euros in recognition of his/her work.
